Friday in First United Methodist Church, Odem with Rev D. I). Hogan, pastor of First Methodist Church, Po-teet, officiating.Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bremer of Sinton and the Rev. and Mrs. D. D. Hogan of Po-teet.Branched candelabra entwined with li 1 y-of-the-valley and greenery and candles on theformed the setting forthe wedding service.Mrs. Douglas Smith served as organist and gave a prelude of bridal music.The bride, who entered alone,wore a gold street lengthwith matching coat. Thedress was decorated with appliques of matching lace and the coat was fastened at theneckline with crystal buttons.The bride carried a gold orchid on a white Bible.Mrs. Don Rogers served as her sister’s matron of honor. She wore a street-length avocado green dress with matching coat. She carried a nosegay of bronzeand yellow pom pom chrysanthemums tied with avocadobows and streamers. The bride’s older daughter, Shari Clarke, acted as flower girl. She was dressed in a candlelight lace frock with an avocado velvet sash and wore aAlton Luedke acted as best man and Richard Mertz and Alvin John Luedke ushered and served as candlelighters, with the bride’s twin children, Patrick and Michelle, junior lighters, lighting the candles on the altar.A reception was held in the church fellowship hall. The bride’s table was laid with lace and net over white linen with the double-net overskirt caught with avocado velvet ribbon. The cake was a three tier pedestal white confection decorated with yellow spun sugar roses and topped with white wedding bells. The centerpiece was a stylized white branch decorated with white ceramic che-ribums and wedding bells with white blossoms and [oufs of avocado ribbon and greenery banked at the base of the branch.Mrs. Alton Luedke and Mrs. Richard Mertz served the refreshments of cake and punch and Miss Marie L.uetike was in charge of the register.For traveling the bride wore her wedding ensemble and used the orchid from her bridal flowers as a corsage. After a short wedding trip to Corpus Christi the couple are making their home in Odem, where Mr. Bremer is principal of Odem Elementary School.Mrs. Bremer is also a former member of the Odem
