AT HYMEN’S ALTER- p - _ —u , . ■ , | _ 4iA very pretty wedding occured iat Westport church WednesdayJanuary the twenty seventh when Miss Mary Mooney became the bride of Mr. Joseph A. Hogan. The ceremony was performed by Rev. James Hogan, of Oshkosh, brother of the groom.The bride was attended by her sisterAliceMooney and the groom by his brother Dominie H.Hogan The bride was beautifully attired in white mouselline due soi over ivory satin, the trimmings were of Irish knit all-over-lace; her white lace hat was trimmed with ostrich plumes and crushes of ribbon. The bridesmaid wore while nun’s veiling with lace, over satin and a white lace hat with blue plumes. Both carried a shower of white roses. The groom and best man wore the conventional black. Little Anna Lyons, of Chicago, and Agnes O’Malley, of Madison, were flower girls. After the ceremony the wedding party repaired to the home of the biide where asumptuous dinner was served intwelve courses.The house was tastily decorated with wreaths of evergreens, smilax, white roses and pink and white carnations.This'event creates a new erain the lives of two of Westport’s most esteemed young people.The bride is a cultured young lady who since her graduation fromthe Windsor high school iii\ 1907 has been a most successful teacher. The groom for eight years previous-to 1908 was a telegraph operator for the 0. N. W. R. R. He is at present engaged in farming.The young couple left for an extended trip to the Atlantic coast on Wednesday evening on the 5;J0 train, where they will visit New York and other points of interest. Upon their returns they will make their home one mile east of Waunakee on the farm owned by Mr. Hogan,wherea beautiful modern home has been erected for the reception of its new mistress.
