Word Speitel Rites Tuesday* jWard A. Speitel,75, of 511 Grove St., died at 1:35 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.Born in I,ogansport, Oct. 23, 1898, he was the son of Frank and Jennie Ward Speitel. He was married May 26, 1928, to Wynona M. Burns, who preceded him in death in March of 1973.He was a retired brakeman ofr the Penn Centra) Railroad.He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Gruber, Fort Wayne; andMrs. Ruth Castaldi, Warsaw; and several niecesand nephews.Services will be at 1(3:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Kroeger Funeral Home, the Rev. Donald Ruhl officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday.
