nIIMrs. MoodyReceptionHostessMrs. Mabel Moody of State Center and Mrs. Wm. Senter of Palo were hostesses at a reception Saturday evening in Mrs. Moody’s home honoring Mr. and Mrs. Roger Davis .who were recently married in Missouri.A pink and green color scheme was used. The centerpiece was of towels folded to form a wedding cake withnylon net and pink wedding bells topped with a miniature bride and groom. This was later presented to the bride.Guests attended from Des Moines, Albion, Marshalltown, Palo, Cedar Rapids, Melbourne, Colfax and. State Center. Also attending were the groom’s grandparents, Mrs. Perry Davis of Marshalltown and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Huff.The honored couple received many lovely and useful gifts.
