St♦AnneJChurch SceneOf Wedding CeremonySt. Anne’s Catholic churchin Hazel Crest provided the setting recently for the Nuptial Mass uniting Miss Shirley Guerard. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Basil Guerard of 16901 Page avenue, HazelCrest, and James Sobkoviak in marriage. Mr. Sobkoviak is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Sobkoviak of Bellwood, 111.The Rev. Philip Pahl heard the couple repeat the doublevows before an altarringadorned with large bouquetsof white mums.Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of white peau de soie studded with appliques of lace trimmed with seed pearls and crystals. Her panel train, bordered in matching lace, fell from the shoulders.*A SMALL crown of crystal and pearls secured her tieredveil. She carried a cascadebouquet of white gladioli bordered in dark green leaves.Miss Kathleen Guerard, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Miss Letitia Ross of Hazel Crest, Miss Pamela Prist of Chicago Heights and Miss Margaret Nosal of Lansing.The attendants were attired alike in floor length Empire sheaths. The gowns were designed with forest green velvet bodices and mint green crepe skirts. Their headpieces were forest green bows andthey carried cascade bouquets of gold carnations with green velvet ribbon.DAVID Sobkoviak was his brother’s best man. The groomsmen were John Pnem of Tinley Park. Theodore Blaha of Bellwood and Allan Raysen of Villa Park.For her daughter’s wedding,Mrs. Guerard wore a mint green brocade jacket dress with avocado accessories. Thebridegroom’s mother wore a three piece coral knit suitwith dark accessories. Bothmothers had white orchid corsages.A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at Cavallini's restaurant in Midlothian. Out - of - town guests included friends and relatives from Wisconsin, Indiana and Canada.AFTER a wedding trip toSt. Louis, the couple are athome in Wheaton.Mrs. Sobkoviak is a graduate of Marian Catholic high school and Little Company ofMary hospital school of nursing.
