WeddingMr. and Mrs. Matthew EtzkornDenise Ann Gasser and Matthew Edward Etzkorn were united in marriage Nov. 8 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in a double-ring ceremony, with the Rev. Gregory Peatee officiating.The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Martha Gasser of Fort Jennings. The groom is the son of Edward and Connie Etzkorn of Delphos.Nuptial music was provided by the Wehri String Quartet.Matron of honor w as Shannon Jordan of Cridersville, friend of the couple.Bridesmaids included Cynthia Etzkorn of St. Louis, Mo., Lisa Moloney of Sidney, and Crystal Etzkorn of Delphos, sisters of the groom, and Laura Wittier of Louisville. Ky., cousin of the bride.Chaplain Cpt. Patrick Rohen of Fort Rucker, Ala., friend of the couple, was best man.Groomsmen were Andrew Gasser and Matt Gasser of Fort Jennings, brothers of the bride; and Andy Etzkorn of Elida and Nick Etzkorn of Pflugerville, Texas, brothers of the groom.Grandparents of the couple include Bernadette Hasenkamp and Marie Etzkorn.A reception was held at the Fort Jennings American Legion Post.Following a wedding trip to Grande Cayman Island. BW1, the couple will reside in Delphos.The bride is employed at Family Resource Centers in Lima. The groom is employed at St. Rita's Medical Center.
