Mr. and Mrs. Max Stemp of Hillside avenue announce the marriage of their daughter, Mary, to Pvt. Charles Storey, son of Eugene Storey of Bradford and Mrs. Dora Storey of Sharon. The ceremony took place at the U. S. Army Air base at Sioux Falls, S. D., January 21. The Rev. Nor bert Selzer, army chaplain, said the nuptial mass. Mrs. Patsy Lee of Sharon, sister of the bridegroom, was matron of honor. Pvt. John Shaver of Phoenix City, Ala., was best man. The bride wore a yellow wool dress with brown and gold accessories. Her corsage was of yellow roses and gardenias. Mrs. Leo was attired in blue with black accessories. She wore a corsage of sweetpeas and carnations. A wedding breakfast was served at a Sioux Falls hotel for members of the bridal party and invited guests. Mr. and Mrs. Storey are residing in Sioux Falls, where the former is stationed at the air base. The bride was graduated from St. Bernard High school here in 1939. Mr. Storey attended St. Bernard schools and was employed in the local oil fields.
