Jennings—SandersMiss Iona Jennings and Mr. Earl Sanders were united in marriage at the West Bend Methodist parsonage on Tuesday, January 24, at 2:00 o’clock Rev. G. R. McDowell performed the single ring ceremony. They were attended by Miss Margie Jennings and Mr. Harold Jennings, sister and brother of the bride.The bride was dressed in a white taffeta dress and a finger tip veil. She wore a corsage of red roses and baby breath. The bridesmaid wore a tea pink taffeta dress with a corsage of red roses and baby breath. The groom and best man were both attired in dark blue suits. They wore respectively a white carnation and a reel carnation.After the ceremony, the bridal party enjoyed a dinner at the home of the bride’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jennings. Among those present at the dinner were two of the bride’s sisters and their husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Virgle Pape of Sherman, 111., and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Brewer of Peoria, 111. This whs the first time in many years that the Jennings family had been together.The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jennings of Rolfe. She is well and favorably known in this community. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Sanders of Mallard.That evening, the couple gave a wedding dance for their many friends and relatives.They will reside in the home of the bride’s parents until the first of March when they will move to a home of their own,, hr f Th e Jo.urn^ jojni | friends in wishing tnSm a long and happy married life.
