Miss Harrie Cane Becomes BrideOf Mr. LambertThe last bride erf the week «uMies Harris Cane, who cm Saturday became the bride of Mr. Herman Lambert, the wedding being a quiet ceremony of the afternoon at 1 o'clock, at the home. 1*65 St. Stephens road, with Dr. William Lantrip of tha .Dauphin Way Methodist church, officiating in the presence of the family and a few intimate friends.The llring room where the love knot was tied was in the bridal tone of white developed with white rose* and chrysanthemums against a background of palms, and Miss Cane, who made an attractive bride in her dress rtf chiffon ta the new shade of blue, with egg-shell accessories, and carrying a bouquet of cream roses showered with valley lilies, had for her only attendant her sister, Mrs. J.‘L. Moore of New Orleans, who was gowned lt» brown with accessories to match, and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Mr. Francis Irby .served as 'the groom’s best man. Following the ceremony the bride’s cake was cut, and punch was dispensed by Miss Bernice Lambert, the groom’s sister, and Miss Hal lie Birmon, the bride’s table with its decoration of pink and 'white, 'roses rfftd ferns, being centered with the bride's cake embossed with white roses and valley Miles.Later the young couple left in their car for the gulf coast, where they will spend until Tuesday, when, they will be at bom* at the Cane home for a week, until they go to housekeeping, the bride resuming her workas teacher at th* Barker Cotton Mill j school and the groom as an else*tridan,Mrs. Lambert will be entertained at a bridge party on Wednesday afternoon at i o’clock, by Mrs. T. Grey Cane, and on Saturday three other teachers of the Barker Cotton Mill school, Miss Doris Snodgrass, Miss Bernlta Flinn and Mrs. Lillie Bouse, will compliment her at a bridgeparty at 6 p.m. at the home of MiasSSL. * - .
