A pretty wedding took place at the home of Mrs. Peter McPhail, on the eventg of Wennesday, January 18th when her daughter Mary, was marred to Mr. Franc Curie, of Aikensicde. The ceremony whch was performed by the Rev. Mason of Douglas, in the presence of about twenty invited guests took place at 7 pm. The bride wore 4a dress of blue cashmere tr m mer with brocaded satin, lace, and whte braid, with a bridal veil and mange blossoms in her hair. She was as atest by her sister Helen, who wore . dress of fawn colored cashmere, trmme! with green brocade elk, and cherry blossoms. wh in the groom was ‘B Btel by his brother George After the wedding supper, the even ng was spent in games, songs, and lancing until an early hour in the merine.
