Not even his mo3t in- '| timate friends had been acquainted with I the fact that he was engaged, and his parents ! were not let into the secret until an hour be-j fore the ceremony was performed. Mr. Dohm ’ kept the fact of his marriage so closely guard-| ed that not until this morning did his warmest \ S friends learn that he was a benedict.The bride'was Miss Levina Brown Hannum, whose home was with relatives on Metropolitan avenue, Bush.wick. She is a comely young woman, 26 year3 of age. Mr. Dohm is 27. The wedding ceremony was performed at the residence of the Rev. E. C. Kearling, who is pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church and lives at 132 Henry street. Mr. and Mrs. H. Dohm, parents of the groom, and Mr. and Mrs. John A. Sutter, friends of the bride, were the only witnesses. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Dohm went to Lakewood, where lt;they spent a few days. Mr. Dohm’^ business engagements prevented a longer stay among the pines. An extended trip through the ! South lias been planned, however, for next month, when considerable time will be spent | at Palm Beach, Fla.Mr. Dohm is a member of the Flatbush Reformed Church, the Knickerbocker Field Club, the Cortelyou Club, Montauk Lodge, F.• and A. M.; Midwood Council, Royal Arca-: num. and several other organizations in vari-1 ous parts of the city. Not one of his many friends in any of the above organizations had heard of his intended marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Dohm now* reside at 50 Winthrop street, Flatbush.
