On Wednesday A. Carpenter bought for Mr. Jones, of William Carpenter ot Louth Adams a porker that weighed 720 pounds.The protracted meeting at the M. At the appointed hour the happy couple entered the parlor and the solemn words were spoken which made them husband and wife. The next half hour was spent in congratulations, after which came refreshments.
