Mr. and Mrs Grant Cupler of Bradford Township announce the marriage of then daughter Thelma Jean on Dec 24, 1934 to J. Leroy Wise, of Clover Centre, N.Y. who was formerly from Lock Haver. They were married by the Rev. W. G. Woodward of the M. E. Church in Williamsville, N. Y. They will take up their residence in Buffalo, N. Y. A large number of people of our town is sick. Among those are Mrs. Black Albert, Miss R. Fink, Miss Vida Joyce Palmer, Miss Mary Mer caret Herbert and Jimmy McDowell. The Owl Patrol of Boy Scout Troop 10 entertained their friends at a party in the Scout building last Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Peters and daughter Patricia Ann of Clearfield visited last week at the home of Ms. and Mrs. Ashley Duke.
