Married. At the residence of the bride's father, at 7:30 o'clock last night, Miss Mary Doss and Dr. Wm. B. Cochran, Rev. J. A. Thompson officiating. The bride is the eldest daughter of Sheriff Doss, and is a lovely girl in every sense of the word. Refined and cultured, she is justly popular with all who know her. She looked very charming, as, leaning on the arm of the man, who, in the future, is to be all in all to her, she responded to the momentous question which severed her from father, mother and family, and made her a wife. The groom, Dr. Cochran, is a Thomas county boy, born and reared here, and stands deservedly high with the public. Though quite a young man, he has, already, made quite an enviable reputation in his profession. ,Only immediate relatives and a few personal friends were pres-est to witness the ceremony. The parlor and hallway of the residence were festooned and garlanded with evergreens aud vines. After receiving the congratulations of those present the bridal couple and their friends repaired to the dining room, where a sumptuous wedding supper was partakeu of.There were a large number of very handsoms and appropriate wedding presents to the bride. They were very much admired by every one.The newly wedded couple will soon go to housekeeping, making their home on Warren street. We beg to tender very sincere congratulations and best wishes for the future happiness, welfare and prosperity of Dr. aud Mrs. William B. Cochran.
