“Who am 1? *A communication from Mrs. B. C.Davits supported by the affidavit ofAlonzo H. Davis, which is printed else-where in thin issue, would siom to fix j the identity of the young nmn to whom Judge Bethel recently issued a mar-i riage license under the name of Pearl Henry and who was in doubt us to whether his name was Stump, Hunter j or Davis when he made the application, j The Mehskngbb and Hbkald is also in receipt of a communication from W. U. Stump accompanied by an affidavit siened bv himself and wife, Mrs. 11. it. I Stump, m which they state that to their knowledge the right name of the young man, whom they raised from infancy, i is Shelby Davis and that neithe r ofwthem had ever said he was the son of Mrs. Shelby Davis. From' the two statements and the affidavit of Alonzo H. Davis it would appear that the real name of the young man is Dayia, but not the son of Shelby Davie.
