Nuptial music was presented ^y Miss Jfecqueline Florence, organist, and Mrs. Barbara Raleigh, soloist.The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard The groom is the son of Mr. Graves of Greensboro, . C. Manual Dodd of Harrisburg, Pa.. Given in marriage by her uncle, James A. Graves, the bride wore a long chantilly lace gown designed with a scooped neckline, a fitted bodice complemented by a very bouffant skirt, and long sleeves ending in points over the hands.Her fingertip illusion veil was attached to a halo of lace and tulle sprinkled with sequins and pearls. She carried white roses on a white prayer book.Miss Claudette Graves, Woman’s College sophomore and cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a slim white embossed taffeta dress with a green net overskirt, matching headdress and carried a white cascade of carnations.The bridesmaids were Miss Ethel Graves, Yanceyville, Miss Vera Vincent, New York, Mrs.Luvenia Chavis and Miss Peggy Neal of Greensboro. They wore dresses of. green embossed taffeta with white net overskirts identical in style to that of the honor attendant’s with matching headpieces and slippers. Their bouquets, were .composed of white carnations with greeil ribbon streamers.The * bride’s niece, Debora Davis, was flower girl. She wore a white embroidered organdy dress with a green cumberband.Mr. Chester Dodd, cousin of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Bill Mock, James Vincent,Norman Little, and Charles•Chambers all of Greensboro.The grandmother of the bride wore a beige dress with matching accessories and a carnation corsage.A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the residence of the bride. Hostesses were Misses Claudia Warren, Lillian Russell, and Claudine Graves. The newlyweds left for Harrisburg, Pa., immediately following the reception. »The new Mrs. Dodd is a graduate of Bennett College, Greensboro, N. C., and is presently working there as secretary in. the Thomas F. Holgate Library. She will join her husband permanently in June. He is a former AT student and is now employed as clerk typist for the United Council of Churches, Harrisburg, Pa.
