Mary L. Carlock Becomes Bride in Winnsboro RitesMiss Mary Leone Carlock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Carlock of Flagstaff, Ariz, formerly of Greenville, and Vernon Richards Adrton, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Adrlon of Alexandria, La., were married Thursday morning at the Colonial home of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Wright in Winnsboro.Rev. Herman Morgan of Overton officiated and Mrs. Clarence Carlock of CMlicothe was pianist. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of blush starched marquisette with silver leaves edging the neckline, sleeves and bodice. Her shoulder veil of blush illusion fell from a tiara of silver leaves, and her only adornment was a diamond lavaliere given by her great aunt, the late Mrs. i J. V. Attaway. The couple’s rings were fashioned of weddings rings which were worn by the great grandmother and the grandmother of the groom, and bore the dates 1832 and 1876.Mrs. Walker Wright of Ft. Worth a cousin of the bride, was matron-of-honor. She wore a blue sheer i formal, a blue headdress and carried pink rosebuds. Lester Adrion of Alexandria, La., attended his brother as best man.A reception was given before the couple left for a bridal trip to South Texas and New Orleans.Mrs. Adrion is a graduate of the Greenville high school and attend-j ed the University of Texas, where she pledged Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She holds a degree from the University of Arizona and has been making here home in Flagstaff with her parents.The bridegroom is a graduate of Alexandria high school, and attended Tulane University at New Orleans, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
