HopeVISITS WINDMILL SITE—Hope College President Calvin Vander Werf (left) greets State Sen. Guy Vander Jagt of Cadillac, a graduate of 1953, at the base of the windmill De Zwaan currently under construction on the banks of Black River. Vander Jagt recently returned from a belated honeymoon in Europewith his wife, the former Carol Doom. He left the law firm of Warner, Norcross and Judd in Grand Rapids to run for state senator of his home district.
