21, 1897Weaver—neunier.A quiet wedding ceremony, announcement of which was received with more or less surprise by the many acquaintances of the contractingparties in our cities, occurred at the home of Mr. E. Meunier in Centralia Sunday afternoon. In prettily decorated parlors and surrounded by relatives and a few friends, Mr. Earl Weaver and Miss Louise Meunier were joined in holy wedlock at 5 o’clock by Rev. J. R. Reynolds, pastor of the M.E. Church. Miss Anna Meunier. sisterof the bride, and Mr. F. A. Weaver, brother of the groom assisted at the marriage altar as witnesses. Words of congratulation, good cheer and merri-j ment followed the nuptial service until all were seated to a bounteous wedding supper, after which the pleasure making was renewed and the little company made things lively for the newly married for a few hours. Mr. and Mrs. Weaver had planned to take the evening train south out of the city, but their ! friends were one too many for them and so they remained in Centralia until Wednesday, departing on that day for their future home at Rhinelander,Wis.Mr. Earl Weaver, will be remembered as former clerk in Johnson, llill A Co.’s dry goods store, Centralia. lie is now employed in a similar capacity for Spaftord, Cole ck Lipke at Rhinelander. Miss Meunier is a pretty Centralia girl,born and bred in the citv ci her%marriage. We join the many friends in extending congratulations and compliments.*II n
