Marcia Mann, MichaelConrad exchange vowsid*Miss Marcia Mann of Chatsworth andMichael Conrod, also of Chatsworth, weremarried Jan. 1 at 2:30 p,m, at the St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Forrest.Reverend Russell Shook officiated at the single ring ceremony with immediate family members in attendance. AParents of the couple are Mrs. Janet Mann of Forrest, Ralph Mann of Danville and Mr. and Mrs. Merle Conrad of Long Reach, Calif.The bride wore an ivory colored floor length crepe gown. The circular collar was lace trimmed; the lace trimmed sleeves were puffed down to the long fitted cuffs; the bodice was empire styled. A deep ruffle was around the full skirt’s hem. Her flowers were yellow roses with white carnations.Mrs. Pam Clark erf Piper City was matron of honor. Her long navy blue gown was trimmed with an ivory colored lace, a band around the long sleeves; at the top of the deep ruffle and the bodice front. Her flowers were yellow ponpoms.Melvin Brown of Piper City was best man.A reception was held at the church parlors immediately following the ceremony. Assisting were Mrs. Steve Mann of Lexington; Mrs. Kris Branham of Bloomington; Mrs. Mack Henry of Hey worth; Lynn Trainor and Diane Maubach of Forrest.The bride is a Forrest-Strawn-Wing graduate and is employed at Nichols-Homeshield Inc. at Chatsworth.The groom attended Gilman schools; served in the U.S. Army for two years and is employed with Max Moore, Contractor atChatsworth.They will make their home in ChatsworthThe bride was guest at a brunch on December 18 at the home of Mrs. Jerry Austman.
