Humphreys. of AKierlcus. were married Sunday afternoon at S o’elock at the home of the bride‘i* mother. Rev. Hugh B. Foukc, pastor of the First Method 1st church, read the single ring service.The bridge was attended by her sister. Miss Ardyee Macomber. and the groom was assisted by Arthur Hi]ton, of Americus, as best man,The bride wore an afternoon dress of aqua crepe with pink accessories, and her corsage was of pink rosebuds.A reception followed the wecld-ding. The 3-tier wedding cake which formed the centerpiece of the dining room table, was decorated in pink and white and topped with a miniature bride and groom. Miss Vaida Brown assisted Mrs, H. D. Solomon in serving.present were: Mr. and Mrs. G. Humphreys and daughter, Virginia, and Arthur Hilton, of Americus; Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Solomon, Mrs. Adar Macomber, Miss Vaida Brown and Miss Ardyce Macomber, all of Emporia.Mr. Humphreys has been working at the Boeing Aircraft plant in Wichita for the past six months. Mr. and Mrs. Humphreys left Monday for Wichita where they will live at*811M Douglas.
