Jan. 5 Vows Said HereMR. AM) MRS. AILMN F1SHBIRNJulie Schncck and Allen F'ishburn were married at Trinity Lutheran Church onJan. 5.Parents of the pair are Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Schncck Jr.. and Mr and Mrs. Alvin Fish-burn. all of Lawrence. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Robert Keim. McPherson, before an altar decorated with blue spider mums, daisies and white carnations. Mrs. Herman Hess w is the organist.The bride wore a floor-length gown of white satin with a sheer overlay, continuing into a chapel train. A wide Queen Anne’s lace flounce trimmed the hem and the long fitted sleev es and round yoke were of matching lace. Accenting the empire waist was a blue ribbon covered with lace. The same lace covered the head piece which held her finger-tip length veil which was edged with narrow Queen Anne's lace. She carried a long cascade bouquet of white roses, blue spider mums, white and blue carnations, baby’s breath and greenery.Attending the bride as maid of honor was Diane Ethcrton. Lawrence, and the bridesmaid was Debbie Tindall, Lawrence. The attendants wore long, cornflower blue crepe gowns with high ruffled neck and long sleeves with ruffled cuffs. They carried cascade bouquets of blue spider mums, carnations and daisies.The bridegroom’s sister, Ann Fishburn. lit the candles.Dennis Thome. Lawrence, was the best man. Serving as groomsman was MikeFlory, Lawrence. The ushers were Arlon Fishburn. brother of the bridegroom, and Mike Schneek. brother of the bride. Assisting at the receptionin the church social room were Nancy Johannsen and Carol Flory, both of Law-rence. Mrs. Harold Shirk, Lawrence, and Mrs. Merle Sehneck, Bonner Springs, aunts of the bride, also assisted. The three-tiered wedding cake was decorated with white daisies and lattice pillars with white bells on top. and was made by the bridegroom's aunt. Mrs. Sam Flora, Quin-ter. The bride s table was accented with blue and white carnations and white daisies.The couple will be at home in Quinter where Mr. Fishburnis a dairy farmer.
