VINCENT STEPHEN VOELKERMiss Cynthia Ann Upchurch, daughter of Mrs. Eldon Upchurch, Spokane, Wash., became the bride of Vincent Stephen Voelker, son of Mrs. Helen Voelker Ramon, Spokane, Dee. 28 in a candlelight, double ringceremony at the Manito Rres-LUCKY 13 CLUB MEETS WEDNESDAYThe Lucky 13 club met Wednesday afternoon at Thorning’s tea room with Miss Henrietta Seeger as hostess.In contests, prizes were won by Mrs. Mike Flynn, Mrs. William Geritz and Mrs. Henry Geritz. Mrs. Flynn received a gift from her secret pal.Mrs. Ann Eccher, 1101 Summit street, will host the Jan.29byterlan church. The Rev. Ray- m,'t‘tinK at her holnt'-mond W. Moody officiated.Organist was Lloyd Williams and vocalist was MissWeatherby.Given in marriage by her brother, Thomas I). Upchurch, the bride wore a gown of Chantilly lace trimmed in sequins and pearls and a veil which fell from a crown of pearls, sequins and crystals. She carried an arrangement of white gardenias and roses.Mrs. Vern Guenther was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Mrs. Douglas Miller and Mrs. Robert Osborne. Candle-lighters were Herbert Upchurchand Noel Voelker, Teddy Ramon registered the guests.Best man was Leslie Baldik and groomsmen were Martin and Raymond Polhemus.Assisting at the reception were Mesdames Thomas Wilson, Thomas Upchurch, Robert Meade, Robert Jacobson, Max Kitterman and Robert Tindall.For a wedding trip to Utah, the bride wore an olive green wool sheath with olive green and turquoise houndstooth checked coat and brown accessories.The couple is at home at North 2016 Ely, Spokane.The bride is a graduate ofCentral Valley High school, Spokane, and the bridegroomwas graduated from Lewis Jind Clark High school, Spokane, and North Idaho Junior college.Mr. and Mrs. Herbert N.Sowers of Atchison are the bride's grandparents.RUTH CIRCLE MEETSRuth circle of the First Baptist church met recently at the home of Mrs. Wilber Davis, 914 Division street, with Mrs. Margaret Turk giving the openingprayer.The group voted to participate in the Fellowship of the Least Coin,Mrs. Lee Noland was elected to represent the circle on theWMS nominating committee.The love gift dedication was given by Mrs. Davis.
