— On Wednesday evening, at the home of the brtde's parents, Mr, and Mrs, W. A. Swearingen, of Downs township, occurred the happy marriage of their daughter, Miss Eure, to Samuel Sniff, a young business man of South Downs, who has many friends and an enviable position in the friendship j of the community. The bride is a charming and educated young lady, possessed of more than the ordinary qualities of a good wife. Being a beautiful singer sho has always figured very conspicuously in society and religious affairs at that place and will be greatly missed by her associates. The happy couple were united by Kev. I, J. Ingham, pastor of the Christian church, of which they were both active and influential members. About seventy*five friends and relatives were present, including many from a distance. The presents were costly, artistic and valuable. The happy couple enter married life with many good wishes fora happy and *seful career.
