One of the most brilliant events in society circles of the season was the marriage of Miss Inez Dongal and Mr. Stephen Fleming, which wa3 solemnized at the Cathedral Tuesday morning. The ceremony was performed oy Rev. Father Quinlan at 11 o’clock. The bride is the charming daughter of Captain and Mrs. Allen H. Dougal, while the groom is the son of the late Hon. William Fleming. The bride was attired in a beautiful go* ing-away gown of dark brown broadcloth, prettily trimmed in mink, and hat and gloves to match. Miss Celeste Fleming, as bridesmaid, wore a beautiful gown of heliotrope silk, trimmed with a darker shade of velvet and nbbon, hat to match, with a large bunch of violets. Mr. James Kbune, of Toledo, acted as best man. After the ceremony the bridal party were driven to the home of the bride, on East Wayne street, where a wedding breakfast awaited them, servjd by Seidel. Mr.f Fleming and bride left at 2 o’clock for Cincinnati, Ohio, and before their leturo will visit friends in Terre Haute and Indianapolis. After their return to this city they will bs at “home” at the McKinnie house. Among the guests from abroad were Mrs. Dr. Wellun, of Terre Haute. Long may they live and happy may their lives be.
