DANIEL CUNDIFFestimireceivHart-Cundiff ceremonyThe First Baptist Church was the setting of a Christmas wedding on Saturday, Dec. 18. at 7 p.m., when Jetta Jayne Hart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Hart, and Daniel M. Cundiff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arlis Cundiff. all of Princeton, were united in holy matrimony in a candlelight ceremony. The Rev. Donald Grollunund performed the double ring ceremony.The church was decorated with pink pionsettas and ferns. Candeiabras decorated with greenery and bows also adorned the church. A single red candle decorated with holly, in each window, helped light the sanctuary.Mrs. John Cummins resented a prelude of nuptial irs on the organ, while soloist john Cummins sang several wedding selections.Given away in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a formal gown of Chantilace, fashioned with a high neckline and full sleeves, deeply cuffed. Tijiy pearls accented the fitted bodice. Tiers of ruffles formed the bouffant skirt and swept to a chapel tram. Matching lace encircled her Chapel length veil and was cau'ht to a lace Cpunelot cap. «The bride carried a cascade ot silk flowers filled with w carnations, burgundy and pink roses. The bouquet also was decorated with burgundy velvet streamers.Carrying out the tradition of something old. new, borrowed and blue, Jetta wore a pearl ring belonging to her maternal grandmother, the late Mrs. Retta Stapleton; something new, a bracelet; something borrowed, a white lace handkerchief belonging to Miss Susan McDowell; and something blue, her blue garter.The couple lit the unity candle during the ceremony, symbolizing their love.Miss Susan McDowell of Vincennes, a friend of the bride, was chosen to be maid of honor, and Miss Pamela Cundiff of Princeton, a cousin of the groom, was the bridesmaid. They wore identical floor length gowns of deep burgundy velvet having square necklines trimmed in white lace, long slender sleeves and featuring an empire waist-line. They each carried a nosegay of silk flowers filled with pink and burgundy roses, white carnations and having pink and white satin streamers. Both girls wore headpieces of burgundy velvet and burgundy net.Aaron Mayhall of Princeton, a friend of the groom, was chosen to be the best man, and Terry Keehn of Princeton, also a friend of the groom, was groomsman.Those seating the guests were Gregg Satkamp and Jon Hallain, both of Princeton and friends of the groom.The groom was attired in a silver gray tailcoat tuxedo trimmed with gray velvet. He wore a white ruffled shirt trimmed in gray with a gray bow tie. All men in the bridal party, including the fathers, wore silver gray tuxedos with gray velvet trim and white ruffled shirts with gray trim and gray bow ties, The groom and all of the men wore burgundy silk carnation boutonnieres.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs Hart chose a floor length gown of pale pink polyester knit trimmed with burgundy velvet. Mrs. Cundiff, the groom's mother, was attired in a pink polyester floor length gown with a burgundy chiffon jacket. Each mother wore a pink silk carnation corsage.The bride's grandmother, Mrs. Mary Carr ell, wore a navy-blue floor length gown of polyester knit. Mrs, Anna Cundiff, the groom's grandmother, wore a two-piece knit dress of navy, red and white, and each grandmother wore a white carnation corsage.Miss Robut Martin of Weamhseo, a cousin of the bride, aM Miss Dertlso Wilkinson of Princt. . friend of The bride, presided at the guest book and also distributed programs and rice bags of pink and burgundy.Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church annex. The threetiered wedding cake was adorned m the bride s chosen colors of pink, white and burgandy. The cake was surrounded by heart shaped cakes The reception table was skirted with ivory lace over pink cloth. On either side of the cake were two crystal candeiabras holding pink tapers and flowers. The cake was baked by Mrs. Eva Miller of Port Branch.Assisting with the receptionwere Mrs. Terry Price of Francisco, Miss Toni Greer. Mrs, Bob Wilkinson, all of Princeton, and Mrs. Jack McDowell of Vincennes, all friends of the bride.Mrs. Cundiff is a 1974 graduate of Princeton Community High School and is employed in the office of Potter and Brumfield Cundiff, a 1973 graduate of Princeton Community High School and a graduate from Vincennes University, is employed by KMK Materials.Following a brief honeymoon, the newlyweds are at home at 4254 S.
