TIME TABLE, LENThursday, Jan. 18, 1968Claiser —BrownMiss Elaine Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Brown of Clearfield, Iowa, and Roper Claiser* son of Mr. and Mrs Clinton Ciaiser of Kent, Iowa’ were united in marriage Saturday, January 13, at 2:30 p.m. atthe Christian Church in Lenox.The Reverend David Shacffer, pastor of .the church, performedthe double ring ceremony as theeouiple stood before the altar, decorated with white Poinsettiaand candles in tall oanldelabrae.Nuptial music was provided by Irma Wilcox of Lenox, as organist, and Mrs. Shirley Rain forth of Gravity, Iowa, sister of the bride, who sang proceeding the ceremony, -and The Lords Prayer as the couple knelt at the altar.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown ofwhite nylon' and lace featuring*a sweetheart neckline trimmed in pearls and sequins with long sleeves ending in bridal points. Her fingertip veil was fashioned of tulle over a satin petal hat. She carried a colonial bouquet of white carnation's edged in green with tuffs of nylon tulle. She wore the traditional something old, borrowed, and blue and a penny in her shoe.Mrs. Phyllis Mortis of Block-ton, Iowa, sister of the bride was matron, of boner. She was attired in a dress of green with white ass'essories and carried a colonial bouquet of white carnations edged in green carrying out the bride’s colors of mint green and white-.John Miller, of Creston, Iowa, was best man.Men of the party wore dark suits and white carnation bout-omniers,The bride’s mother chose a multi-colored suit with black jand white assessories and the • groom’s mother, a brown dress . ; with brown assessories for the ■ wedding.i *The bride attended the Lenox High school.
