Rev. J. E. Haggerty of Manila, P. L. celebrated the nuptial mass yesterday morning in Sacred Heart Church when his niece, Miss Jean Elizabeth Bordas, became the bride of Keith M. Pauley, son of Wirt E. Pauley of Staunton Ay. and the late Mrs. Pauley, James Deem was soloist with Mrs. John G. Hender- Son as accompanist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jess G. Bordas of Jack son St. Panels of Chantilly lace de- tailed the full ankle length skirt of her ivory satin gown and her fingertip vest was draped from a coronet of satin and seed pearls. White carnations were arranged in a cascade bouquet. She was attended by her sister, Miss Mary Ann Bordas, and Miss Mary Virginia Morgan, the former wearing an imperial blue frock of velvet and net with a velvet stole and headdress of net and rhine stone. The latter wore an identical costume of coral velvet and net and both had crescent bouquets of carnations tinted to match their dresses. Michael Bordas, the bride's nephew, was ringbearer. E. Howard Pauley was best man for his broth er and ushers were James C. Mad dox, Jr., Harry Ballard, J. C. Wil liams, William and James Bordas, the bride's brothers. Mrs. Bordas received at the home reception in a navy lace frock and corsage of pink rosebuds. Those as sisting were Mesdames Howard Pauley, Lynn Pauley, Walter Brown, William Bordas, James Bordas, the Misses Mary Jean Zain and Salley Finnegan. Out-of-town guests were the bride’s grand mother, Mrs. Joseph T. Bordas_of Pleasantville, C., Mrs. Joseph Tyler off Lancaster, GO. and Mrs. Kenneth [Lee of Millersport, ]. When Mr. and Mrs. Pauley left for a Southern wedding trip, she wore a black and white checked suit, black accessories and corsage of red rosebuds. They are graduates of Charleston High School and will live at 110 Bradford St. The former Miss Bordas attended Morris Harvey College, where her husband is a student. She has a position with the Rish Equipment Co. and is a member of Phi Kappa Kappa Sorority and the Neviman Club. Mr. Pauley belongs to Phi Sigma Phi Fraternity and is em ployed by the Magic Mfg. Co., of which his father is president. Wesley Methodist Church was fed j setting yesterday afternoon for the wedding of Miss Donna Sue Douglas l and A 2-C Joseph Franklin Wheel er, Jr., son of Mrs. Kathleen Wheel er of Bigley Av. Rev. B. Elmor Kelley was the officiating minister. Satin roses accented the pleated tulle collar of the bride's gown, made with a fitted satin bodice and bouffant tulle skirt ending in cathedral train. A pleated tulle cap clustered with orange blossoms held her fingertip veil and an orchid centered her bouquet of assorted white flowers. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Douglas, of Crescent Rd. Mrs. James M. Badgett, T. was matron of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were the Misses Jean Rucker, Louise Cunningham and Janet Douglas, another sister. Mrs. Badgett wore a bouffant frock of cornflower blue velvet and tulle with a matching stole and headdress and had a bouquet of white flowers centered with pink rosebuds. Simi lar costumes of fuchsia were worn by the bridesmaids, whose bouquets for white flowers were centered with red rosebuds. Gordon Hinkle served as best man and groomsmen were Robert Ashmore of Geneva, N. ¥., Lloyd Neely and Orin D. Wilkinson. Aides at a reception at the church were Mesdames Maynard Sharp, G. T. Williams, A. A. Blackhurst, the Misses Patricia Douglas and Nancy Lee Douglas. After a Northern wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler will live in Washington. He is in the USAF Drum and Bugle Carps at Bolling Field. A graduate of Charleston High School, she has been employ ed by the Chesapeake at Potomac Telephone Co.
