Local Couple ■Married Friday In Las VegasNews was received in Shafter Friday evening of the marriage, on that day, of Ed Kolbenstetter and TilUe Strout in a ceremony performed at La* Vegas, Nevada. The announcement came as a surprise to friends of the couple here.Both Mr. and Mrs. Kolbenstetter are pioneer residents of the community, having come4here when the Shafter colony was first opening up. Mr. Kolbenstetter is among the first persons who grew potatoes in the vicinity.Following the wedding ceremony, the couple started on a trip through southern California.
