Evonne Marie Braatz and Michael Brian Masello were married at a 2 p.m. ceremony on Oct. 11,2003, at Free Methodist Community Church of New Middletown, Ohio. Pastor Hal Haire officiated.Parents of the couple are Richard Braatz, Cheryl Braatz, Anthony Masello Sr. and Debra Williams, all of New Castle.Prior to the ceremony, a video was shown of the couple from childhood to thepresent.The bride wore a floor-length satin strapless gown featuring a full skirt with box pleats and a separate matching stole. Beaded embroidery outlined the neckline, skirt hem and removable train.She carried a bouquet of white roses with stephanotis and pearls.Maid of honor was Carolyn Zulauf of New Castle. She wore a pewter gown ofiridescent taffeta. Her flowers were red roses with white stephanotis.Bridesmaids were Priscilla Iwanejko of New Castle, Angela Zumer of Altoona, Kristin Gordon of Michigan and Ashley Thornton of Erie.Best men were Anthony Masello Jr. and Jason Masello, the groom’s brothers, both of New Castle.Ushers were Travis Braatz, bride’s brother of Altoona, Daniel Donaldson of New Castle and Adam Blose of Butler.Megan Zulauf was vocalist.A reception was at the Croation Club of Bessemer.The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas.They make their home at 19 Woodland Drive, New Middletown.The bride is a graduate of Laurel High School and Slippery Rock University.She is an environmental Her husband is also a health and safety analyst for Laurel graduate. He is store Innerstate Chemical Com- manager for Harvest Moonpany Inc., Hermitage. Inc., North Lima, Ohio.
