The doublering ceremony took place at St.Michael's Catholic Church.Father Paul Byrnes, pastor, was the officiant. The organist was Susan Gerhard.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Pugh, Fulton, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Pugh, Frostburg, and Ralph 0. Nelson and the late Mrs. Leona Nelson, Eckhart. Thebridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Marchbank, Tauranga, New Zealand, and the grandson of Mrs. Joan Marchbank and thelate William Marchbank, Tauranga, and Mrs. McKinnon, TePuke, New Zealand.Given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore adesigner gown of imported Italian white satin. The dress featuredbodice with a neckline andan all alencon square jeweled short capped sleeves. The empire waist, banded with pearls and oats, flowed into an empire A-line skirt with a square back. The detachable English net court train was banded with satin. Thefingertip length veil, edged in satin ribbon, consisted of full layers of imported French illusion, topped with petite satin roses. She carried a bouquet of white and red roses, white lilies andstephanotis.Georgia Pugh, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacey Jarvie, sister of the bride; and Kelly Buckley, friend of the bride. Heather Filsinger, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.Steven Burt, friend of the bride-the bestgroom, was tne nest man. Groomsmen were Brian Marchbank, brother of the bridegroom; and Jason Wamick, cousin of the bride.MARCHBANK Stephanie and Paulbride, attended the guestbook. Lauren Nelson, cousin of the bride, distributed programs. Readers during the ceremony were John Marchbank, father of the bridegroom; Vincent Jarvie, brother-in-law of the bride; and Scott Buckley, friend of the bride.The rehearsal dinner was held at Rocky Gap Lodge Golf Resort.Zealand.A bridal party was given by the bride’s sisters, Stacey Jarvie and Georgia Pugh, and her aunts, Lois Filsinger and Rosalie War-nick, at the Ali Ghan Shrine Club.A shower was also given by Kelly Bucklev in Baltimore.The reception took place at Failinger's Hotel Gunter. The three-tier cake, made by Shelby Gable, was adorned with fresh flowers. Kingdom Caterers provided and served the meal. Bopp’s Florists provided the decorations and flowers. Roger Gough of Picture Images was the photographer, and Music Express provided the music.The bride is a graduate of Atholton High School in Columbia. She received her bachelor ofarts in language and literature from St. Mary's College of Maryland. She is currently part of the management team at Rocky Gap Lodge Golf Resort.The bridegroom is a graduate Wairarapa College in Wellington, New Zealand.
