Linda Hoyt Is Bride In Year-end CeremonyMR. MRS. MARVIN R. CHASEMiss Linda Carol Hoyt ana Marvin Richard Chase exchanged wedding vows Dec. 31 at the United Church of Christ First Congregational. The Rev. Harold S. Gold officiated at the 2 p.m ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer A. Hoyt f 20 Hickok Avenue. Her husband is the son of Mrs. Jessie Chase of South Edmeston and Claude Chase of Orlando, Fla.For her wedding the bride chose a floor length gown fashioned with a lace bodice with long sleeves and square neckline The bouffant satin skirt was accented with lace and sequins, as was the bodice. Her veil was held by a crown of seed pearls. She carried a cascade of white carnations and ivy.Mrs. George Blood'of Norwich served as matron of honor for her sister. She wore an emerald green floor length dress of satin brocade. Her pearl necklace was a gift of the bride and she carried a cascade ixmquet of red carnations and white mums.Bridesmaids attired in red gowns identical to that of the matron of honor, were Mrs. Don. aid Fellows, of Oneida Castle, the groom's sister, Mrs. Clarence Knapp of Sherburne, a cousin of the bride and Miss Linda Cate of Norwich. Their flowers were the same as those of the matron of honor. They also wore pearl necklaces, gifts of the bride.Best man was Donald F ellows of Oneida Castle, a brother-in-law of the groom. Ernest Chase of Canastota, Russell Chase ofEarlville, and Chester Chase of Canastota were ushers for their brother.Flower girl was Miss Donna Cooley of Norwich. She wore a red velveteen dress with a white satin collar. Her headpiece was a red velveteen bow. She carried a basket of peppermint carna. tions.Ring bearer was the groom’snephew, Bryan Chase of Canastota.The altar of the church was decorated with red and white glad-ioli. Organist, Ray Zeigler. played Forest Green Green--sleeves, and O Little Town of Bethlehem. Soloist, Miss Cheryl Markle, sang O Lord Most Holy, O Worship The King, and the Lord’s Prayer.The bride’s mother chose a red two piece sheath with Mack ac cessories and a corsage of red roses for her daughter’s wedding. The groom’s mother wore a floral print dress with black accessories and a corsage of red roses.A reception for the couple was held in the Founder’s Roomof the church following the ceremony. The four tier wedding cake and punch was served by the groom's cousins, Doris and Nancy Smith, Linda Smith, June Eells, and the bride’s cousin Alice Hatton.Following a wedding trip to the Poconos, the couple is at home at R.D.3, Norwich.The new Mrs. Chase is a 19G3 graduate of Norwich High School, a 1964 graduate of the Harper Method Beauty School in Rochester and owns and operates the Harper Method Beau-ty Salon in Norwich.Mr. Chase is a 1959 graduate of Mt Upton Central School and served three years in the U.S. Army. He is employed by R.D. Smith and Sons, at Woods Corners.Prenuptial showers for the bride were given by Mrs. Dianne Fellows, Mrs. Janice Blood. Misses Nancy and Linda Smb.h and Mrs. Marian Young and Mrs. Mardy Coolev.
