Herndon of Perrys toil.''the bride wore a street-lenfeth white jersey dress with gold sequins and matching accessories. Her Cot-sage of gardenias.The bridegroom's mother Wore a black and white dress with matching accessories and a carnation corsage.Following the marriage ceremony a reception was held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Sloan, 711 E. Browning. A yellow and white color scheme decorated the lace-covered table which was centered with a threc-ticred bride’s cake. Mts. Mel Davis poured punch and cake wns served by Mrs. Ralph Sloan.The bride attended White Deer schools and graduated, in 1944. She was a member of the National Honor Society. The bridegroom attended Painpu schools and graduated in 1941.Attending the reception were members of the immediate family and a few close friends.
