Wedding Bells.On Thursday last, at St Thomas’s Church, Pte. Alfred Wills, son of Samuel and Mrs. Wills, of this city, was united in matrimony to Miss Annie Hiscock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Georgo Hiscock, of Flat Island, B.B., by the Rev. Dr. Jones. The bride was assisted by her sister Mrs. Mark Earle, and Miss Annie Wills, sister of the groom, while Miss MollieEarle, niece of the bride, acted as flower girl. The groom was supported by Mr. James Earle, returned Royal Naval Reserve hero. The bride was attired in white Jap silk with veil and orange blossoms and was given away by Mr. Avery, Bandsman of No. 1 Barracks, After the ceremony the wedding party drove from the church to Mrs. Wills’, mother of the groom, where a reception was held. The groom’s present to the bride was a gold piece. The brido was the recipient of many valuable and useful presents. Fte. Wills was one of the first to enlist being one of the Blue Puttee boys and has seen many engagements at the f r o n t, being a veteran of Gallipoli and Dardenells; bo was also in several attacks in Franco and was wounded on June the 2Nth, 1916.
