Tigges/BassKristy and Ryan BassKristy Tigges and Ryan Bass were united in marriage Nov. 17, 2001, at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Coon Rapids by Father Anthony Pick.Parents of the couple are Lola and Gary Tigges and Darrell and Doris Bass, all of Coon Rapids.Matron of honor was Jen Derner and flower girl was Jade Hays. Bridesmaids were Shelley Klocke, Kari Tigges, Angela Boeke, Kelly Bass, Katie Tigges and Amy Schroeder.Best man was DavidVBass and ring bearer was Jacob Derner. Groomsmen were David Eickman, Joe Eickman, Justin Hamilton, Ben Jackson, Scott Tigges and Kip Hays.Ushers were Chad Klocke, Pat Derner, Jeff Bauer and Scott Paulson.Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Dedham Legion Hall.The couple took a honeymoon trip to the beaches in Negril, Jamaica.The bride is a 2000 graduate of Coon Rapids-Bayard High School and a 2001 graduate of the Professional Cosmetology Institute. She is employed at Finesse Hair Studio in Ankeny.The groom is a 1999graduate of Coon Rapids-Bayard High School and is currently a junior at Iowa State University majoring in transportation-logistics. He is employed full-time at Party Time Rentals in Ames as a tent and delivery manager.The couple reside in Ames.
