Miss Qualls and Dr. Leon Cook Are Wed January 4thMary Patricia Qualls of College Park, Georgia and Dr. Fred Leon Cook of Jackson, Georgia were united in marriage January 4th at Hapeville United Methodist Church. The Reverend John Lindsey officiated at the double-ring * ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. , Qualls of College Park. Mr. and Mrs. Fred P. Cook of Jackson are the groom's , parents.| Special organ music was rendered by Miss DorothyThrailkill.Joy Burns was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cynthia Arnold and Linda Jenkins.Attending Mr. Cook as his best man was Charles Liotta of Decatur. Paul Conlon and Johnny Lunsford served as ushers.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white gown of Chantilly lace and satin peau with matching lace train. The empire bodice featured a high lace collar and the long sleeves were of shepherdess design.Her fingeriip veil of English illusion was edged in Chantilly lace.Following the wedding a reception was held in the Fellowship Hall of the church.Melissa Pulliam of Jackson, niece of the groom, kept the bride's book. Assisting in serving were Martha Pulliam, Vivian Stephens, Nita Lunsford, sisters of the groom, and Ann Boucher.The couple will reside in Wilmington, Delaware, where Dr. Cook is employed by the DuPont Company.
