Mrs. De Bernard! is the former Miss Antoinette Darin, daughter oi Mr. and Mrs. Tony (Pinky) Darin of Central City. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles De Bernard! of Glcnridge.Miss Antoinette Darin Weds Robert DeBernardiSt. Mary's Church was still in its holiday beauty with poinsettias and evergreens decorations and the lighted nativity scene last Saturday when Miss Antoinette Darin and Robert DeBernardi were married there in a nuptial High Mass by Rev. A. B Scho-maker.The bride, given in marriage by her uncle. Corinno Darin, wore a gown made of imported all-over lace with silk organza trim on the skirt and bodice. She wore a starched lace headpiece edged with pearls to which a fingertip circular veil of silk illusion was attached. She carried a crystal rosary which was a wedding gift purchased in Rome and blessed by the late Pope Pious XII. Her I jew elry w as a strand of pearls and small pearl earnngs and her flowers were a cascade of white glittered glamielias with stepha-notis and gold leaves centered with removable white orchid.Catherine Darin, her sister. Danny Darin, her sister-• in-law. were the bride's attendants. The maid of honor wore lipstick red and the matron of honor were copen blue. Their gowns of pure silk organza over taffeta were made alike with full skirts of harem styling and tight fitting bodices They had shirred three-quar ter length sleeves and scoop necklines. they wore drop pearl earrings and headbands of shattered carnations and stephanotis. They, carried muffs of glamelias and I gold leaves. The flowers were glittered in red and blue to contrast i with the dresses.The bridegroom was attended by• his cousin. Fred Fabris of Flint, I Mich . and the bride s brot her, i Danny Darin Ushers were Adolph r Turchi of Flint, Mich, cousin of i the groom, and Eugene Wurm of - Boulder.The wedding march was played . by one of the school sisters who i also accompanied the children’s . Choir of St Mary's Church when I they sang Ave Marie'* and On , This Day Oh Beautiful Mother i while the bride presented a bou-, quet of opened red roses to the I Blessed Y'irginA wedding dinner was served at 12; 30 in the Garden room of the Langenfeld Hotel for close rela lives and out of town guests. The reception in charge of Mrs. Angie f Washburn, was held in the K. of f C. hall from 5 30 to 7:30 p m Servers were Mrs Judy Wimpy. Miss Loretta Woolbright. Miss Judi Reeder. Mrs. Martha Wurm and Mrs Phyllis Resch. Mrs Ruth Ann Ritter and Miss Barbara Stover took care of the gifts and Mrs Anna Leu Darin , tended the guest book.A tiered wedding cake centered the table and white chrysanthemums ami gold leaves were scattered on the blue cloth which was overlaid with white net. The table was set in milk glass The bride s mother was wearing a sheer wool dress of French blue with a small flowered match i ng hat and shoulder corsage of shattered pink carnations. The bridegroom's mother wore a Dior blue lace dress w-ith small match i ng hat and corsage of shattered carnations.The bride is the daughter of Mr.1 and Mrs. Tonv (Pinky) Darin 201 N. Broadway. She is uate of Centralia Township School and is employed by Roebuck and Co.The bridegroom is the son of Mr. | and Mrs. Charles DeBernardi of Glenridge. He too is a graduate of CTHS and is employed at the A. I and P. food store.They have returned from a wedding trip through Kentuc k y and Indiana and are now at home at 427 S. Poplar St.Levin’S
