ANITA—Harold Parsons of Ft. Jackson, S. C., has been promoted to sergeant.Mrs. Delbert Hobbs went to Omaha last week to meet her husband, Delbert Hobbs SKD 1/c of Port Hueneme, Cal. From Omaha they went to Kansas to visit his relatives and will return some time this week to Anita to spend the balance of his leave with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Highley. Mrs. Walter Birk is teaching the Lincoln No. 8 school south df Anita during Mrs. Hobbs' absence.
