Kplgtitt of Columbus From Other Maine Towns Assist in Conferring Degrees on Large Class of Candidates Here SundayA ,**, In spite of the inclement weather of Sunday there was a very large attendance of Knights of Columbus at the afternoon and evening meetings held here. Under the direction of Albert H. Davis, of Ellsworth, Deputy of the Seventh District of Maine K. of C., the first, second and third degrees were conferred and the installation of officers of the newly instituted Champlain Council of Bar Harborwas held.Officers who worked the first degree were Deputy Davis, and the following Knights from Ellsworth: Harold Hawkes, Frank Dunleavy, James Coughlin, Joseph Luchini, Henry Harrington. The officers who worked the second degree, were Henry ^Mahon, James Frank Dunleavy, also of Ellsworth. There were in this work, too, about fifteen Knights from various parts of |he State, Oldtown, Orono, Bangor and other towns sending delegations.The installation of the afternoon was an impressive ceremony. About 150 were in attendance and the ceremony, which is one of interest throughout*, was carried out with precision and accuracyby Mr. Davis and his staff, assisted by L.* VFrank Baker of Orono, who has long been prominent in Iv. of C. work in Maine.The following is the lis of officers installed :Serenus B.
