Wedded Tliis Morning,This morning, at S:30, Mr. M. L. Brady, of Plainfield, Illinois, and Miss Anna Daffy, of tbiseity, were married at. Assumption church by Rev. J. J. Smith. Mr, R. E, Brady, of Mioooka, Illinois, brother of the groom, was best man, and Miss Katie Duffy attended the bride. A large number were present to witness the marriage, some 150 invitations having been sent out. Mr. and Mrs. Brady will leave on the evening passenger for Chicago. They will be at home at Plainfield, Illinois, after February 1st.The bride is one of Palo Alto’s very best young ladies. She is ' the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Duffy and is widely known. She has resided in Bmetsburg since childhood and graduated at St. Mary academy several years ago. She is a young lady of a high degree of personal culture and has for some time taken a leading partin the social life of the community. No young lady in Em-metsburg stands' higher in the estimation of our citizens and none is more, worthy of it. Though not a resident of this place, Mr. Brady has been quite a frequeub visitor to our city and he has impressed most favorably all who have met him. He is a fine.appearing gentleman and is said to bo thrifty and prosperous.The Democrat extends hearty greetings to the newly wedded pair and wishes them a pleasant and a liappv journey through life.
