MUCH MARRIED MOLLIE.She’s on Her Little Pink Ear,Over a Little Squib That Appeared in the Democrat the Other Day—In Her Last Marriage Return She jVames Her Last Husband as Her Third, And Gives Her Age at Twenty-Right, in Both of Which She is Uadly off.The Democrat man found the following letter lying on his desk Saturday, which he had not time to attend to then, but presents a few facts in regard to it to day. The letter reads as follows:Editor Democrat, you are altogether Mistaken in mee Beeing at Chatt-nooga Tenu as I was to see my Sister it is strange i Cant go on a visit unless i go with some man now i think you ought to Carect your mistakes as it is Fals with Respect Mollie Carwin now i wish you Cold Print Some More lies as i have not Bin South But what is it your Bisness if i was But i was not.The writer of the above is better known by the name of her fourth husband, Yan Buskirk, and curiosity prompted the Democrat man this morning to look at her marriage return made to the County Clerk by the officiating minister when he marries a couple. In the return made by Rev. John Reece, who married Mollie to her latest and fifth husband, Joseph Corvin, on Nov. 7th, 1887, Mollie gives her age as twenty-eight, and told the minister that Corvin, who gives his age as twenty-four years and his occupation as a carpenter, was her third husband. A little search of the records shows that Mollie was a little off, for the record shows the following marriages in which Mollie has acted as the blushing bride:Her first marriage was to Riley Lisher, to whom she was married Sept. 1st, 1867, by Zachariah Patterson, a justice of the peace.Her next was to YYilliam J. Nugent, which was solemnized by El-bridge G. Mayhew, J. P., on Dec. 31, 1872.She next married John H. Little, on Feb. 13, 1880, Andrew J. Higgins, J. P., tying the knot.She tired of him like she did all the others, and on April 18, 1883, she was mairied to Lincoln J. Yan Buskirk by Rev. W. T. Jolly.Her last marriage so far as the records have been examined, was Nov. 7, 1887, to Jo Corvin. So that instead of Corvin being her third husband he is her fifth, as shown by the record.Now as to her age. In* her last marriage return she gives her age as twenty-eight, but when the census was taken in 1880, her name being Little at that time, she gave in her age as thirty There are a number of other interesting incidents about Mollie, which will be printed if she wants us to.
