Long before the hour set for the ceremony. the auditory was filled with friends and admirers of the couple. At precisely 12 o’clock, the bridal party entered the door of the church and marched to the alter, the organist, Miss Lotta Longman, playing j Mendellsohn’a Wedding march. The bride entered leaning on the arm of her father, proceeded byMessrs. Win. Mack and George K. Far rington.The groom joined the party at thealtar, accompanied by Kev. Stanley. Thechurch was elegantly decorated throughout. The ceremony was performed according to the ritual of the Episcopal church and was indeed solemn and beau j fcifuh The bride was neatly attired in a neat dark-blue cloth traveling dress.After the ceremony the couple received congratulations in the church, and then, took a conveyance to the depot, when*| they departed for St. Augustine, Fla , j and other southern points, on their wed ding tour, to he gone about one month, j They have a large circle of warm personal ' friends who unite in wishing the happy; couple bon voyage.Miss Anna Douglass, the bride, is tin* beautiful and charming daughter of J. j W. Douglass, the well known milliner,, and resides at .Id north Eighth street, j She has been for the past two years the : president of Hi. Stephen’s Guild, and has j always been an earnest church worker. As a token of remembrance the members of the Guild presented her with a handsome cut glass berry service. The groom presented her with a handsome set of diamond ornaments. She? was also the recipient of many other handsome presents.Leonard S.
