He received a bachelor's degree in 1979, a master's degree in 1981 and a master's of business administration degree in 1985, all from KU. He is a senior consultant at Arthur Andersen and Co., Kansas City, Mo.The couple will reside in Overland Park.McAdam-SturdyCarrie McAdam and Ron Sturdy were married Dec. 31 at St. Stanislaus Church in Ingalls. The Rev. Dermot Tighe officiated.Parents of the bride are Gene and Maxine McAdam, Cimarron. The groom is the son of David andSharon Sturdy, Lawrence.Jill Leis served as matron of honor, and Scott Paschall was best man.Bridesmaids were Malinda Bryan and Colleen McAdam. Groomsmen were Jeff Kelley and Kevin McWilliams.Serving as ushers were Jim McAdam and Scott Farmer. Kathy Wilson attended the guest register.Mass servers were Justin McAdam and Bryan Long. Justin McAdam and Lisa Leatherwood lighted the candles. Don McAdam served as lector.Music was provided by vocalist Scott Paschall, pianist Jeanine Long and organist Pam Leather-wood.A reception was held at the church. Assistants were Allison Maraell, Kim Middleswart andGayLynn Ronkin.The bride received a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Kansas University and is pursuing a master's degree in hospital pharmacy at the University of Minnesota.The groom received a bachelor's degree from KU and is employed by the First National Bank of Lawrence.The couple will reside in St. Paul, Minn.Russell-HallSara Jayne Russell and Stephen Michael Hall were married Dec. 30 at Plymouth Congregational Church, Lawrence. The Rev. George Owen officiated.The bride is the daughter of Judith and Mike Russell, Grand Rapids, Mich, She is the granddaughter of Gayle and Maxine Mott, Lawrence. The groom's mother is Mrs. Pat Hall, Shawnee.Maid of honor was Lisa Fisher, Lawrence. Bridesmaids were Monica Strawn, Kansas City, Mo., and Kim Rogers and Rene Hogan, both of Overland Park.Best man was Chris Powell,Overland Park. Groomsmen were Simon Happer, Lawrence, Dave Griffith, Mission, and Bruce Peavier, Overland Park. Serving as ushers were Tim Mott, Westwood Hills, and Stephen Russell, Grand Rapids.Amy Mott, Westwood Hills, lighted the candles. Mary Huskey, Pittsburg, attended the gifts.Music was provided by soloist David Meek, Topeka, and organist Helen Hawley, Lawrence.A reception was held at the Elks Club.
