S. taint InstallationA joint installation by Masons ind Eastern Stars was held after i special and the regular meeting f the Eastern Stars Thursday ivening, January 6.Grand Representative Vonna Seedorff acted as installing offi-:er, with Past Worthy Matrons Vlabel Gordon and Ardath Breck-ler as installing Marshall and Jhaplain, and Past Grand Or-janist Edith Davis of Manches-er, as organist.The officers for Aldebaran Chapter are as follows: Roselyn jood, Worthy Matron; Harrison Roberts, Worthy Patron; Helen Newton, Associate Matron; Ho-ner Chapman, Associate Patron; /erna Gitchell, secretary; Eva Velch, treasurer; Ulah Chapman, Conductress; Dorothy Luiken \ssociate Conductress; Fern Nor-hrop, Chaplain; Cleta Gleim, Marshall; Norma Lickiss, Adah; Hazel Oldfather, Esther; Ruth Bassett, Martha; Pearl Roberts, Electa; Bertha Ward, Warder; Helen Philipp, Sentinel.Vonna Seedorff and Coy Bateman will be installed as Ruth and organist, respectively, at the February meeting.Paul Good, husband, and daughters, Viola and Ruth, escorted Mrs. Good to the East and presented her with a gift.Pearl Roberts escorted her husband, Harrison, to his station in the East.The Installing Marshall presented the retiring Matron with ;a gift from the chapter, a plate Rearing the Eastern Star emblem, and' the names oL the officers jvho seiiv^i with past-year. *■lt; •; Worthy Patron Roberts . was presented with a perpetual calendar and a book of quotations.The past year in the history of the chapter, was a strenuous one. No one could evaluate the hoursof labor which the Eastern Star iand Masonic members have given to the conditioning and redecorating of their building. Besides this, they have donated 100 per cent to the National Temple in Washington, D. C., the Home in Boone, and to the polio fund..The Masonic installation was conducted by Dow Clute arid Merle Lickiss. Officers installed were: Le Roy Newton, W. M.; Homer Chapman, S. W.; ROy Ward, J. W.; Harrison Roberts, S. D.; Paul Good, J. D.; D. A. Newton, S. S.; J. R. Gordon, J. S.; Harley Seedorff, Tyler.After remarks by the Worshipful Master, all enjoyed a picnic supper and social hour.
