PETER WHITMER GIVEA RECEPTIONTo Their Son and III* Bride at Their Home on West Front Street—The Course In Agriculture at Champaign Attracts McLean County Boys.The elegant home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Whitmer presented a scene of beauty last } night on the occasion of the reception to their newly wedded son, Ira Whitmer and his charming bride. Nearly 800 invitations had been issued and judging from the number present nearly every card was responded to in person. Among those present were many of the representative business and professional men of Bloomington nud their wives.The Young friends of Mr. and Mrs. d Whitmer were also there. Mr. and Mrs. jr. Peter Whitmer stood within the door of y the parlor and received the guests. Next to them were Mr. and Mrs. Ira Whitmer to whom the arrivals were then presented.At 9 o'clock supper was served.
