A Qnlct Wedding at Collector John Atchison’* Home Thursday,At 2:30 o'clock last Thursday at the home of John Y\\ Atchison, Mr. Holly Witherspoon, of La.vrence-burg,Ky.,and Miss Louella Atchison were married by Bev.W. B. Taylor, of the Christian Church. Very few besides the relatives were present, no cards having been issued.Miss Louella Atchison is well known and much admired in Mexico society. No young lady has left our city departing from more and dearer friends than Miss Atchison. She is the daughter of our esteemed friend, John W. Atchison, Collector and ex-Sheriff of Audrain county—a better known man does not live among us. His admirable daughter has all the characteristics that form a lovely woman and her absence will be felt in Mexico.Mr. Holly Witherspoon is not unknown here, having u few years ago been a resident of this county, residing with his brother, C. A. Witherspoon, south of Mexico. It was then he met his lovely bride. He is now a promising young farmer of Kentucky, living in the suburbs of Lawrenceburg and the happy pair left on the fast Wabash immediately after the ceremony for that place, where they will keep house. Congratulations go from a wide circle of friends to Mr. and Mrs. Witherspoon. They were accompanied by Miss Emma Witherspoon, sister of the groom. _
