Cole, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Cole of Julian, Calif., pledged wedding vows Dec. 21 at the First Methodist Church *in Campbell, Calif.The bride, who attended L. T. Stone School, Churchill Junior High and Galesburg High School, was graduated from Campbey High School and San Jose State College. She now teaches secondday in the league headquarters,1030 W. Sheridan Rd., Chicago.Plans for workshops throughout the state were made and a topic for these workshops was named “Is Vour Service Family Service?’* The programs and workshops will be geared to helping the public health nurse have a belter understanding of community referal service.HOMEMAKER’S GROUP• The Homemaker’s Handicraft Group of the Galesburg Senior Woman’s Club will meet Wednesday morning in the club rooms at10:30 o’clock. “Flower Making” will be discussed by Mrs. M. J. Rose, A luncheon will be served at 12:30 o’clock.Members are being asked to make reservations with Mrs. A.Bradbury or with Mrs. Fred Dredge not later than Tuesday noon. Miss Quins-land’s sister, Miss JaniCe Quinsland was her maid of honor and the other attendants, three bridesmaids, were all of San Jose, Bill Cole, cousin of the bridegroom, of £! Centro, Calif., was best man.Attendants were identically styled in dresses of jade gre^n peau de soie.For her wedding Miss Quinsland wore a satin gown designed with sabrina neckline and long sleeves trimmed with lace and pearl applique. The deep-pleated skirt extended Into a chapel train and her veil of French illusion was held by an Elizabethan headpiece with a center pearl drop.A reception in the Fireside Room of the church, followed the ceremony.The bride’s gown and those worn by her attendants were designed and made by her mother, Mrs. Lawrence Quinsland.Since their wedding trip to Carmel, Calif., and after Jan. 1, Mr. and Mrs. Cole have been residing in San Jose.The bridegroom attended El Centro Schools and is now a student at San Jose State College from which he will graduate this month.
