Biirrjss-BetK,At the home of the bride’s parents, L. L. Burriss and wife, at eight o'clock Wednesday evening occurred the wedding of their daughter, Miss Mary, to Jess Beck of Leon, Iowa. While Mies Wilma Crouch played the Mendelsshon wedding march the two came down the stairs and took their places under a large bell in the corner draped with curtains which were! decorated with smilax and roses. i The bride carried white roses and! was attired iu cream silk. Mrs. Ed Wise was maid of honor and Mr. Ed Wise best man. Rev. H. T, Proctor of the Baptist church performed the ceremony. A three course supper i was served to about forty guests after!the ceremony. They received many;valuable and beautiful presents. They!will soon leave for Leon where they: expect to make their future home, the groom being employed by the Swift Company there. The Democratextends its best wishes.
