The Eastshore Unitarian Church was the site of the Dec. 16 wedding of Miss Gayle Magdalen Charron to Mr. William Barnett Fohrell. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard J. Charron of 126010th Ave. S, Edmonds. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Fohrell of Falls Church, Va.For her wedding, Mrs. Fohrell chose a floor length gown of white velvet, fashioned in the Empire style. Her veil was a white lace mantilla and she carried a bouquet of white roses.Miss Cynthia Charron, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Her floor length gown was of gold satin in the princess style and her headpiece was of gold net, caught with a gold satin bow. She carried a bouquet of holly, centered with a single candle. Miss Mary Ann Hindery of Seattle and Miss Sandy Nesheim of Edmonds were bridesmaids. Their gowns were similar to that of the honor attendant but were in dark green satin.For the candlilight service, the church was decorated with white satin ribbons and holly. Mr. Theodore R. Porter of Seattle acted as best man and ushers were Terry Charron, bother of the bride, Bruce Zunser and Glen Hendrickson, both of Seattle..Two receptions followed the ceremony, one at the church immediately after the wedding and another at the home of the bride's parents later in the evening.Mrs. Joan Charron, sister-in-law of the bride, and Miss Hendry and Miss Linda Tower acted as hostesses at the church reception. Mr, and Mrs. Charron were host and hostess for the home reception.For her wedding trip to Ma-zatlan, Mexico, Mrs. Fohrell chose a wool walking suit in yellow plaid with black accessories. The couple are making their new home in Seattle.Making the trip here from Virginia were the bridegroom's parents, Mr, and Mrs, Fohrell. The bride's grandmother and aunt from Oxnard, Calif., were also present for the ceremony. They are Mrs. Lucia Ware and Mrs. Gertrude Huston.The bride attended Seattle University for two years and is currently studying at the University of Washington. The bridegroom is a graduate of Purdue University and took his master's degree in civil engineering from the same school.
