WeddingsSMITH—MAYHEWA quiet wedding solemnized at Knox United church, Brandon, Dec. 23, when Grace Uouise, second, daughter of Mr. Ira Mayhew\ of 'Wawanesa, M-in., became the j bride of Mr. James Russell Smith, only son of Mrs. S. A. Smith, of Rice Bake, Wisconsin, U.S.A. Rev. S. J. B. Parsons officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her father and attended by her sister, Irene May hew, of Wawanesa. The bridegroom was attended by the bride’s brother, Mr. Jacob May hew, of Wawanesa. The couple spent Christmas with the bride’s family and then left for Winnipeg, where they will reside until the bridegrooms' departure overseas with Ihe 12h Field .company, R.C.E.
